My Industry Experience, Service and Commitment to my customers and clients:
I have been involved within the Hair, Nail & Beauty Industry for all of my working life and have loved every minute.
After enrolling on a Hairdressing Apprenticeship at the age of 15 years old and working in the industry until the age of 26, an opportunity arose and I changed direction, to become a Therapist working in an innovative Beauty Salon in the centre of Nottingham city centre.
A business that also ran a weekly Diet Clinic and eventually became well established due to its sourcing and distributing of innovative Beauty Equipment. I was part of the business from the age of 26-30 years old, I travelled and during that time learnt so much from some wonderful people, that gave me so many wonderful opportunities.
In 1995 I was head hunted and persuaded to join a business and take a position of UK Sales Manager within a UK based a Nail Company, that distributed products and training for their International Parent Company based in Los Angeles, California.
Once again I was fortunate enough to learn from, and work with a wonderful mentor and his wife to whom I will be eternally grateful.
Jump ahead to 1997, my biggest challenge and gamble to date!. I decided after visiting a show in San Francisco CA, to take a risk and start my own Nail Company.
Not long afterwards followed my Nail Training School of Excellence. .
We initially sold our brands throughout beauty wholesale chains throughout the UK, Scotland, Ireland and Wales, Many years later I took the decision to withdraw selfing products via third party wholesalers in order to sell direct to Salons and mobile technicians.
I love the industry and still thrive on advising, taking orders and talking with our customers on a daily basis, and of course teaching new and existing therapists when possible.
My experience and time within the industry has allowed me to broaden my treatment scope to that of an Aesthetic Practitioner. I have worked extremely hard to enable me to competently offer all of the anti-ageing treatments listed on my treatment page.
I believe that Continual Personal Development is paramount in the Nail, Beauty and Aesthetics industry in order to offer a professional service along with safe and competent treatments to our clients.
